Growing up I never had to worry about my weight, which was fortunate because I wasn’t involved in any sports and you definitely would not consider me someone who enjoyed physical activity. As I got older I realized that I had a passion for food and loved finding new places to eat and things to try. This was unfortunate, because as we get older our metabolisms get slower. So, I started becoming more active in my twenties to combat some weight that I had gained. I trained for 10-mile races, ran a half-marathon, and found out that I really enjoyed taking spin classes. Before my wedding, I really started becoming more dedicated to working out and worked with a personal trainer for a year. I was putting in all this work but wasn’t losing any weight. My trainer would try to make diet suggestions but I would brush them off. Then one day, something just clicked for me. I kept having this feeling that I really just wanted to be the best version of myself and reach my full potential.
I had seen Teddi on the Housewives and looked into her coaching program. I considered it for a while and one year after my wedding I was finally in the right mindset to be #ALLIN when it came to my health and wellness. This program is, hands down, the best thing I have ever done for myself. I found a plan that worked for me and I’ve proven to myself that I am capable of so much more than I ever thought possible.
I’m still a foodie and love and appreciate food so much, but now I know that everything is better in moderation. You can’t out-work a bad diet and that was a hard realization for me. With this program, I’ve now got the tools to be the best version of myself, maintain my health and fitness goals, all while still being able to enjoy life to the fullest.
