About Cindy

Hi! My name is Cindy and I am so very excited to be joining the All IN by Teddi accountability coaching team. I live in Virginia with my husband of 23 years and my 22-year-old son. I am a Registered Nurse and am currently working as a Nurse Case Manager.

I grew up in North Carolina and was always very active in running. I ran track in school and have completed multiple 5K’s and half marathons over the years. In September 2015, I tore my Achilles Tendon while running a half marathon. I did not run again for a year. I became “lazy” and always had an excuse to not exercise. In 2017, I attempted to run three Spartan races with my husband, but struggled at each one. I had been putting on weight, had no energy, and had to walk most of the way. Shortly after, I reached my breaking point. I was at a weight greater than my pregnancy weight, I was anxious, sad, and felt the worst I have ever felt. I finally decided that I had to do something.

I had seen transformation pictures on Instagram and looked into Teddi’s program. Finally, I made the commitment. It was the best decision I ever could have made. I lost the weight that I wanted but the program is so much more than losing weight. It is a complete lifestyle change. It changed the way I see food and I now make better choices as to what and when I eat. I have become more confident, happier, and proud of myself for what I accomplished. I no longer let “life” dictate how, what, and when I do things. I plan out my time and allow time for myself. I learned that putting myself first once in a while does not make me selfish. I can’t take care of others if I don’t take care of myself.
